Us by Jason Thach

 

Life's too complicated;

Nothing but drama and misunderstandings.

We want to trash everything.

There's people and things

That bother and annoy us.

 

We hate those things.

We're independent people;

As if!

There's always someone controlling

What we do and what we don't do.

 

We're given privileges,

Yet you take them away.

Here, we're not people;

We're just things here.

Are we suppose to be people or not?

 

Here, we have no rights.

Can rights be taken away?

Who do you think we are?

We're not cowardly, little people.

So don't belittle us.

 

In our little society,

We're ignorant;

There's that one BASTARD controlling us.

We know who the bastard is

And we hate that person with a passion.

 

Telling us lies and

Getting hopes and dreams up,

Just to crush them.

Our society created many

Battles within one war.

 

Yes, we know it's bad.

This war and it's battles will never end.

Everything happened once

Our society was created.

Should we surrender, or not?

 

If we should, what would happen?

We would just be robots;

Controlled and emotionless.

If we didnt, would the fights resume?

Nothing will end this chaotic and trouble some war.

 

We'll just fight; generations after generations.
